Duração: 1 de dezembro de 2020 – 30 de novembro de 2022
Parceria Internacional
As atividades serão realizadas e monitorizadas no TwinSpace do projeto eTwinning associado.

Project “Green Globetrotters in the UE”
Project Code: 2020-1-FR01-KA229-080517
Duration: 1 December 2020 – 30 November 2022
International Partnership
The Green Globetrotters in UE project is developed by a partnership of 6 organisations from 5 European countries: France (coordinating country), Italy, Turkey, Serbia and Portugal.
About the Project
This project, initially designed for students attracted to the subject of tourism, emerged during a pandemic, raising questions about international trade and globalisation.
In collaboration with several schools located in highly touristic areas, we aim to reflect on the importance of sustainable development in travel, the safeguarding of heritage, and the implementation of eco responsible policies in establishments that welcome travellers. The project will offer students a real opportunity to discover and learn about tourism in each partner country.
As a first step, a training meeting will be held for teachers to share their knowledge. During meetings and learning activities with students, we will explore various tourism related themes: UNESCO World Heritage, ecotourism labels, tourism and the carbon footprint of travel. We will seek to better understand the definition of sustainable tourism.
Convinced that young people are aware of climate issues and eager to engage with the world, this project aims to provide concrete, cultural, and scientific tools. Activities will be carried out and monitored through the TwinSpace of the associated eTwinning project.
The final output, in the form of an online booklet, will guide travellers through the concepts addressed and offer readers points for reflection on the meaning and risks of sustainable tourism.
